In 1971, several Lutheran congregations in and around Danforth, Illinois, followed their spiritual vision to develop a Christian residential care center for their aging loved ones and for those of others.
Prairieview Lutheran Home, a skilled nursing care facility, welcomed its first resident in 1974. Nestled on 9.5 acres of rolling farmland and Midwestern meadows, Prairieview Lutheran Home has expanded to include three companion sites and other health care services:

Providing a continuum of Christian living care for senior adults, all are regal examples of what faith can accomplish and prayers can bestow.
