 Freedom to come, go, or stay as you please with friends close by for a fun game of cards and stories... Independent senior adults enjoy the luxuries of their golden years amidst the warm neighborhood environment of Luther Place. Opened in 1985, these active adults devote their time and energies to their family, friends, and fun... not to household chores or to tiring "honey-do" projects.
Luther Place, the first independent living facility of its kind in central Illinois, consists of nine single occupancy and 12 double occupancy suites, all with baths and walk-in showers, handicap accessible, an emergency alert system, individual thermostat controls, cable TV, and attractive window coverings. All utility expenses (except telephone) are included in the reasonable monthly rate.
Residents are wholeheartedly encouraged to decorate their suites with their own furnishings and special touches.
