Prairieview is hiring! We are currently seeking qualified CNAs to join our team of caring and dedicated professionals. CNAs provide physical assistance with ADLs, as well as foster holistic wellness. Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, CNAs perform specialized patient care functions, basic and restorative, for assigned residents. CNAs are valued for their contributions and observations, which are reported to the Licensed Nurses and other members of the interdisciplinary Treatment/Care Planning Team. They maintain the patient environment in an outcome-oriented, safe, therapeutic, and compassionate manner. CNAs participate in keeping the unit clean, orderly, and functioning efficiently.

Required Skills and Abilities:
1. Manual dexterity.
2. Ability to lift, push and pull adult patients utilizing good body mechanics.
3. Verbal and written communication skills.
4. Basic medical terminology.
5. Critical thinking and effective judgment skills.
6. Organizational and time management skills.
7. Team interaction skills and initiative.
8. Must be versatile, flexible and outcome oriented.

Minimum Education and Experience Required:
1. Current Illinois CNA License.
2. Current CPR Certification.
3. Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.

Maintenance Director - Full Time


Maintenance Director  - Full Time
This will be a full time position training with the current director and technicians in the maintenance department. Long term this candidate will take over as Director of Maintenance.

2 or more years maintenance technician experience
Ability to work collaboratively with other facilities leaders and staff
Computer/Microsoft proficiency
Ability to order products/services as needed
Working with outside contractors/ability to obtain quotes
Experience creating, setting, and working within a budget
Ability to prioritize
Willingness to attend classes/obtain different certificates/licenses

Required Skills:
Organized and tidy in work areas
Drywall repair & Painting
Knowledge of commercial electrical work
Knowledge of heating and cooling

Director of Admissions, Marketing, and Development

  • Admissions:
    - Coordinate the admissions process from referral/inquiry through the Admissions Care Plan
    - Stay up-to-date on all Medicare and Medicaid requirements for admissions including Medicare criteria and quality measures
    - Maintain a residents' census
  • Marketing:
    - Create and arrange for all advertising, including all print materials
    - Maintain a social media presence
    - Maintain website
  • Development:
    - Organize community events, including annual golf outing, Fall Festival, and annual 5K
    - Oversee Easter Appeal and Christmas Appeal
    - Coordinate the Annual Meeting for Prairieview Lutheran Home for Aged Development Corporation
